My Karate Kid

Caleb was so excited to see the new Karate Kid movie. We went on Saturday which happened to be Daddy's birthday. During the movie Caleb turned to me and said, "I want my hair like that!"

So thankfully my mom, being the talented hair expert that she is, was able
to do his hair how he wanted.

Caleb sat still and was able to get through one braid at a time with breaks in between.

He was so happy when it was all done. He loves his braids so much. He says he never wants to take them out!

Everyone was so impressed at his Karate class. They were all calling him Jaden.
Here are some pictures of him in action.

And because I haven't posted in a long time, I have a few things to share.

Henry's bed head. I've never seen his hair like this except this one time.

I thought it was hilarious

He worked so hard to learn his Kia Kata.

We are so proud of him.

What's up with Henry?

He's been running everyone down in his walker

He's been getting into a lot of trouble with this walker. He's pulled down his brother's food off their little table and broke a plate, he's getting into the DVDs under the TV, and pulling everything off the coffee table to name a few.

Henry is 10 mos. old and is just figuring out how to crawl. I found Henry and Caleb under the coffee table looking at some Avon magazines.

I had to take a picture. They looked so sweet!!

Then he spotted me.

Uh Oh, here he comes.

Hi Baby Boy.

OK, here is a shot of these front teeth coming in, I call them Chicklets!
He's already bitten me pretty good with them too. He sleeps with me, so the other morning to wake me up he bit my arm. I was up fast!!

I sat him to play with his toys but as you can see he is sick of baby toys. He'd much rather play with the big boy toys!!

Mom, no more pictures!

Please Mom, you're embarrassing me!!!

Sorry son just a couple more!
He loves to walk around the house, with help of course. Here he is wearing one of his brothers shirts which looks like a dress on him.

Oh I can just gobble him up. He is so precious to me! He is growing up so fast and I hate it. With all these new changes I can see I'm losing my baby. That makes me oh so sad. But to look on the bright side, he'll be walking soon which is a good thing since he is a back breaker at 23 lbs. You don't know how bad my lower back hurts, ouchie!! So him growing up is a good thing!

Pictures we took at a wedding we went to yesterday for Chris' cousin.

Here are the boys with their cousin Jaxon, who was the only excited one to take a picture. What a good boy!!

Katie let me borrow her dress for the occasion. Mama cut and teased my hair. It turned out really nice.

We had a really enjoyable time since we left Henry at home with Mama and Kenzie. Although everyone sure missed seeing him. We were glad to have a break from that little guy for once but happy to come home and see his smiling face. Mama said he didn't even miss us. So thank you Mama and Kenzie for babysitting. Love ya!!

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday at the Budge Home. Natalie made her yummy cinnamon rolls. We watched General Conference. The children were much to excited with all the activities Natalie planned. We thought this was also a great opportunity to take a picture with us all dressed for Easter.

These guys had their baskets ready to collect eggs.

This little boy is 9 months old now. He has his 2 bottom teeth in and his 2 top teeth are just about ready to break through.

Nanny helping the boys paint their eggs.

While the boys were busy painting eggs the Easter Bunny came and left eggs outside and a trail for them to follow.

Caleb knew exactly what to do. Noah on the other hand wasn't sure what to do with the eggs. He picked one up and then put it back on the ground. We told him to put the eggs in his basket. Then he got it!

There was sure a lot of eggs for just 2 boys.

Uncle John got in on the action and cracked a confetti egg on Caleb's head.

Then he got Nanny next.

Henry got his hands on an egg too. I love those cheeks, he is the sweetest thing.

Here is Katie with her belly. It looks like she's hiding a few eggs under there!

Oh, Caleb finally smashed an egg on Daddy!

Papa and Mama. I always tell them to try to look sweet!

Katie and Colby.

Natalie also had games to play.

The boys had never been blindfolded before. They had a blast.

Here is Mama with her granddaughter Brooklyn. She is so adorable! You too Brooklyn!!

And Mama and grandson Henry. So precious!!
Thank you Natalie and John for having us over and for Dinner and everything you had planned for the boys. We had a great day!! We love you so much!!!

The Tournament

Caleb attended his first Karate Tournament this morning at 9am. It was a mini tournament and everyone received a trophy for participating, but since they were still judging, Caleb came in first place in his group.

Here is Caleb waiting to start

Everyone sat against the wall waiting for their turn

Here he is hanging with the guys

Caleb with his trophy. Noah can't wait till he can be in Karate too!

As you can see Caleb picked the smallest trophy. He had first choice of the trophies and he decided on that one. There was just something he liked about it!

Here is the group and Caleb's sensei is there on the floor. Caleb really likes her. She is a great teacher!

And here is the video of him. Make sure you turn off the music and turn the volume way up so you can here him talk.

We are so proud of him and his courage to even want to get up in front of a group and do this. He's our special boy! We love you Caleb!!

Karate Kid

Caleb has been going to Karate class for the last three weeks. He has been wanting to be in Karate for about a year. So finally we signed him up. He was so excited to get the uniform last week.

He does really good in class watching how to do all the moves and he practices a lot at home. His favorite movie right now is The Karate Kid. He said he wants to be Mr. Miagi for Halloween. You would think he would want to be Danny Larusso! I'm sure he'll change his mind come October.

Anyways, we are really proud of Caleb. He already is thinking of the tournament coming up in a few weeks and says he wants to win the trophy and he'll practice until he's the best. He is hilarious!

Henry is 7 mos.

After Caleb's birthday I realized Henry turned 7 mos. on the same day we were at Medieval Times. See what happens with the third child, you start forgetting important dates! Let's just hope I don't forget his actual birthday. Our Henry is becoming such a big boy now. He stays up longer throughout the day with a couple of short naps in between. He loves to sit up and have a bunch of toys around him to play with. That keeps him busy for a good while. I've also noticed Henry loves to watch cartoons. I can't believe he's glued to the TV at such a young age. He loves listening to music and he loves to hear me play the piano whenever I get a chance. He also loves a good magazine to tear and chew up once in a while. Henry loves his brothers and they love to make him laugh. When Daddy comes home Henry is so happy he smiles and kicks his legs in excitement. We love having this sweet baby in the family!
